Tour Details

• Hotel Collection: We will collect you from your Hotel or chosen location in Takayama in the morning (See departure times) 
• Transfer to the mountains: Embark on a scenic journey as our English-speaking guide and a driver transport you from your starting point to the serene landscapes of Kamikochi in a private vehicle. 
• Arival in Kamikochi: Upon arrival in the untouched Japanese Alps, you have a choice of sights and trails to be explored.
• Sightseeing Itinerary: Enjoy the scenic valley and spend your day around the Kappa Bashi bridge. Observe the view and browse boutique shops and cafés.
• Short Course Itineraries:

1.  Taisho Pond to Kamikochikanko Center: This scenic route takes about 2 hours one way and can be comfortably walked in sneakers. Visitors can also start from the Taisho Pond bus stop for convenience.
2. Kamikochikanko Center to Myojin Pond and Back: This round trip is approximately 2 hours and is best enjoyed with hiking shoes for added comfort and stability.

• Long Course Itineraries:
  1. Kamikochikanko Center to Myojin Pond, Taisho Pond, and Back: A more extensive hike, this trail takes around 4 hours and requires hiking shoes to navigate the varied terrain.
  2. Kamikochikanko Center to Tokusawa and Back: This longer hike spans about 5.5 hours and also necessitates hiking shoes to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
• Trekking Itinerary: Kamikochikanko Center to Dakesawa and Back: For trekking enthusiasts, this challenging trail is a 5-hour round trip, and trekking shoes are essential to tackle the more rugged paths.
• Hotel Return: Our driver and guide will return you to your  Takayama hotel.
