We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operation Officer to join our Tour Operation Team. This role provides an opportunity to learn and develop within the company, with a clear pathway to advance to an Operation Team Leader position based on performance, skills, and leadership capabilities.

Key Qualifications:
• Previous experience in tourism, logistics, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential, along with business-level Japanese to effectively communicate with local partners and vendors.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Docs, and other productivity tools.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
• Permanent work visa in Japan required.

Responsibilities:
• Tour Coordination: Support the assignment and scheduling of guides for tours, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Booking Management: Handle tour bookings, updates, and confirmations while maintaining accurate records.
• Customer Communication: Provide pre- and post-trip support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Resource Management: Collaborate with guides and partners to ensure smooth tour operations.
• Operational Support: Assist in day-to-day logistics, including managing schedules, updates, and emergency responses.
• Development Opportunity: Participate in training and development programs to grow into the Operation Team Leader role.

Career Growth Path:
Year 1: Start as an Operation Officer, focusing on learning the company’s operations and gaining hands-on experience.
Year 2: Transition to the Operation Team Leader role based on demonstrated skills, leadership, and operational excellence.

Salary Range:
230,000 – 350,000 JPY/month (based on experience and skills).

Work Location:

Work Schedule and Hours:
• Working Days and Hours: Full-time position, 5 working days per week, 8 hours per day.
• Weekend Work: One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required each week. Weekend work can be done remotely, with a weekday off provided in exchange.
• Overtime: Minimal but may occur during peak periods or urgent needs.

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Tour Guides and Driver-Guides. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for guiding sightseeing tours of Kanazawa and the surrounding area to guests coming from overseas. As a Driver-Guide, you will additionally be responsible for driving guests to various tour locations while providing insightful commentary. This job is ideal for people who are deeply interested in working with English and different cultures. Training will be provided, so people with little or no experience are welcome.

Requirements:

  • Passion for history, culture, and storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
  • Ability to handle groups of various sizes and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Previous experience in guiding or customer service is preferred, but not required.
  • For Driver-Guides: Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record (Required)

What You’ll Do

  • Social Media & Content Creation – Assist in managing and growing our social media presence through engaging posts, stories, and videos.
  • Email Marketing – Help craft newsletters and promotional emails to engage clients and partners.
  • SEO & Advertising – Work with our marketing partners to optimize our online presence, assist with high-end magazine placements, and support digital ad campaigns.
  • Website Updates – Update blog content, tour descriptions, and promotional banners as needed.
  • Campaign Reporting & Analytics – Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements based on data insights.

Who You Are
