Founded in 2016, Kanazawa Tours was established to share the cultural depth of Kanazawa with the world, not as a series of landmarks, but as a living city shaped by its people, traditions, and contemporary artisans.
For more than a decade, we have believed that meaningful travel is built on genuine human connection. Our purpose is to create thoughtful, respectful encounters between our guests and the communities they visit, while protecting the integrity of local culture and craftsmanship for future generations.

How We Do It
We combine the insight of domestically trained Japanese guides with international best practices in guiding, customer service, storytelling, and operational excellence.
Our team works closely with nationally recognised artisans, family-run businesses, and cultural practitioners, many of whom do not typically engage with mass tourism, to create experiences that are authentic, personal, and culturally grounded.
Over the past ten years, we have continuously refined our approach: challenging stereotypes, adapting to international expectations, and investing in training and quality systems that ensure every guest experience meets our exacting standards.
