Our Best Tour in Japan!

During our 14 day cruise of Japan, plus the 7 days pre-trip, we took several group and private tours and this was our best experience of all of them! Working with Mike at Kanazawa Tours to customize the tour was really easy. We chose to add an artesian experience in kimono creation since that is a particular interest of mine. In addition, we arranged to be picked up at the port since we were not sure of local transportation options. Nozomi-san, our guide, was truly a dream come true! She maximized our tour day by managing our transport with cabs, buses, and walking. We always had enough time for what was interesting to us, but we saw all the major sights – Kenrokuen Gardens, Samurai House, Geisha District and Kanazawa Castle Park, and had a delicious Japanese lunch too. Nozomi has lived in both Western and Eastern cultures, so provided a great resource for understanding Japanese culture. Her ease with idiomatic English made the tour much more pleasurable to us since she instantly understood our questions. I would certainly recommend Kanazawa Tours to anyone who wants a wonderful experience in Kanazawa.
