Japanese lacquer is applied to artificial nails with maki-e techniques.
Each one is hand-finished, so you will have the one and only set.

Several layers of coloured Japanese lacquers are applied on the upper left and on the lower left. Then a gold-plate cut out in the shape of cherry blossom petals are pasted, and finally, Japanese lacquer is re-applied to polish the gold.
On the upper right corner, a special coating is applied on the material, and the gold leaf of Kanazawa–which accounts for 98% of Japan’s gold leaf production–is pasted and painted with coloured Japanese lacquer.
