Hand Crafted once-off Ceramic Sake Cup by Hirotake Imanishi.
The shape is carved out of the clay block, the inside is hollowed out to shape it to an appropriate thickness. The surface is coated with a unique metal glaze containing iron and manganese. Imanishi’s unique ‘Cell Crest’ is handpainted onto the surface using the local technique of Kutani ware painting.
